Today we played netball. We went to the hall because it was raining. The netball lady gave us the balls and the hoops. We did chest passes and we played friendly versus fire games. When someone hits your leg (with a ball) you have to jump.

Who is a friend?

A friend is someone you like lots and lots. I am a good friend because I have a kind mouth when I talk to Eliza. Eliza is a good friend because she is kind to me. Heneliena is a good friend because she plays with me.
We have lots of fun playing together.

Have you seen fireworks before?

On Wednesday we celebrated guy Fawkes. After school I had a drink and chips. My mum lit the fireworks and the boom box.  I had fun. Then it started to rain.

Brielle; The Rainforest

In the Sacrament Strand I learned that the rainforest is a holy place because God made it for animals and for plants to make oxygen for us to breathe.

At play time I was with Uinisieti and Alessandra. We played outside Room 6. We were cooking with plants. I had fun cooking.

Did you know that being nice to others actually be good for you. My mum always tells me to be nice.

 When I share and care, other children come and play with me. They want me to be their friends. 

When I am angry they do not want me to be their friends.

Yesterday Giselle, Deijahn and I played football at the play ground. It was our favourite game.

First Giselle ran fast. She kicked the ball to Deijahn. Deijahn ran fast. She kicked the ball to me. I ran fast. I kicked the ball. The ball went into the goal.

We had a great time.

Trip to Chipmunks

During the holidays my family and I went to Chipmunks. My brother turned eighteen.

I was jumping on the bouncing castle. I felt like a bouncing ball. I had a ride on the train. The train went fast. I was not scared.

I really had a great time.

Making Home-made Vanilla Ice-cream

  

Last Tuesday Room 1 and Room 2 made vanilla ice -cream in Room 2 because we are learning how to turn liquid into a solid.
First we put the evaporated milk, sugar and vanilla essence in the bowl. Then we whipped the milk until it looked creamy. After that we put it in the freezer. We ate it. It was yummy.

Learning to meditate

In Room 2, I am learning how to do meditation. I can do meditation when I stay still, close my eyes, sit up straight, breathe gently and put my hands on my lap.

Meditation helps me to relax. It helps me to stay focused. It helps me to listen.

Jesus and Me

Jesus said to the  children “Come to me”. Jesus hugged the children. He blessed them. He loved them. He held them. Jesus loves me too.
